My Other Gig
The little bit of news that I alluded to yesterday is that I have been invited to write for The Well Fed Network, under the title of Get Your Grill On. The invitation arrived the other day when I was idly boasting that I had barbequed two hundred and thirty sausages at a recent function.
Apart from that I have no idea as to why they picked me, but it's a bit of a buzz to be noticed. Hop on over and check out the site, there are lots of categories to browse. And of course you can read my latest post on damper.
Go on, have a look.

Well done you! I'll be sure to go and take a peek. Fame at last ;-)

Hi tanna, you're the best!
Hi jeanne, I'm not sure about the fame part, but it could be a bit of fun.
Hi helen, thank-you! It's pretty clever alright.
Hi reb, thanks for that, but it could just mean more work, we'll see.
Hi laurie, thank-you!
Hey, anyone who "had barbequed two hundred and thirty sausages" and lived to tell the tale AND brag about it, deserves to be writing for Get Your Grill On.
You've made a fine addition to our talented team of writers and we're darn lucky to have you.

Great article, well written and entertaining! Perhaps a great start to a freelance food writing career? :D
I'm so glad that your marvellous writing is now reaching an even wider audience, Neil! *applause*
I read your article and enjoyed very much - plus *humph* - thought I had invented that bread-thingy myself! LOL
Hi whitetrashbbq, I was kinda busy that day. Thank-you for having me come on board.
Hi ellie, who knows? It would be sorta nice.
Hi shell, thanks for that. I bet a lot of people believe they invented that recipe, I know when I was younger i messed around with flour and water a lot.
