About Me
I'm a Melbourne boy, hailing from St Kilda with one ex, one current wife and four kids. Love the outdoors and making new discoveries. I cook a lot at home (cheers from wife) and do some preserving, mostly jams, pickles and fruit liqueurs. This is the diary of a cooking journey.

A Sleep Over
Daughter M is having a friend from school sleep over tonight, she is so excited and has told everyone she knows. Even the principal at her school mentioned it to me.

Of course the food order is in. Home made pizza, with just tomato sauce and cheese. Hope it's good for her friend. Last time she visited, I found out the hard way she didn't like sausages. But I reckon pizza will be fine.

I'm really looking forward to it.

Good luck.
Maybe they should put their own toppings on.
Tomato and cheese should be safe.

Brave man!

Hey Neil, I think we are living in parallel universe to each other. Braden just had a sleep over this week.....and we made homemade pizzas! They were a huge hit. Suprising how much more kids eat of something they help make, ya know?

Have fun and good luck!

Aw, sweet. Happy M!

Pizza is the ideal kid (and grownup) food. Who doesn't love homemade pizza?

Have fun!

Hi tanna, I so should have listened to you. The kids were having such a great time, that I let them alone while I did the pizza. It turned out that A doesn't like tomato in any form!

Hi angela, you're right, there is a kinda Twighlight Zone thing happening between us! I should have listened to you about the pizza.

Hi gigi, well two out of three wasn't so bad.

Hi laurie, it was fun too. Two little girls going for it!

Hi nerissa, pizza homemade from the base up, yum. We all had a great time.
